Fuel and Mileage Tax Reporting
Permitax’s systems are completely flexible. We can tailor a fuel and mileage tax reporting package to suit your needs. We can use data and information from any of the following sources:
1. Distance Reporting
- Manual paper trip sheets/envelopes with odometer readings
- GPS data (long/lat’s)
2. Fuel Reporting
- On-the-road, fuel cards, keylock, yard fuel
- Paper fuel receipts
- Fuel statement summaries
- Electronic fuel information from fuel suppliers and/or yard fuel systems
3. Toll Road Reporting
- Paper toll receipts
- Toll statement summaries
- Electronic toll information/statements
We can work with any combination of the above to accurately complete your fuel and mileage tax reporting. So, if your fleet is mixed with both paper and electronic information, we can provide a flexible “mixed” service of paper and paperless fuel tax reporting. Or, if you have deployed a “paperless” solution across the board, we can accommodate your needs as well. Either way, it does not matter to us, as we have the flexibility to obtain fuel and distance information in many different formats to input into our proprietary software systems.
In addition, we have developed analysis tools to review and analyze your data to ensure it is as accurate as possible. Our exceptions reporting system points out potential problem areas and missing data. We then obtain additional data from you to ensure the gaps in information are complete before filing your tax returns.
